After the usual elephantine gestation period, sweaty palms and studied nonchalance about the whole Directory thing, really, (2011’s rankings are just so last year, darling), Legal 500 has just released its Guide to the Legal Profession for 2012.
All our UK Labour & Employment teams scored a ranking, London in Band 3, Leeds and Birmingham in Band 2 and Manchester a magnificent Band 1 placing. In all cases this puts the local Squire Sanders Hammonds team in company with some very good firms and above many others. Almost all the 14 UK L&E partners also received individual commendations in the Guide.
Clearly there is a risk that this could be taken just as frightful showing-off, so I must obviously stress for the avoidance of doubt that we are not in the least smug about this performance, dear me no, and that the high levels of client satisfaction reflected in these commendations across the national L&E team is all the recognition we could seek, obviously. So we are not blowing our own trumpet about these great reviews at all, got that?
